The Badger Trust has written suggested comments to selected Trail Hunting Consultation questions, where it is particularly important to highlight the impact hunting has on badgers.
Strengthening the evidence in these areas will help support the case for a full ban on trail hunting and for closing existing loopholes in the Hunting Act 2004.
Badger Trust has not provided comments to every question, as there are already strong submissions from other organisations, including The League Against Cruel Sports’ full consultation advice. However, we strongly encourage supporters to reference the points in the comments when responding, particularly where badgers and wider wildlife impacts are relevant.
