Sett blocking is the illegal act of filling in and obstructing the entrances to a badger sett. A sett is defined in the Protection of Badgers Act 1992 as amended, as “any structure or place which displays signs indicating current use by a badger”, and includes the tunnels & chambers constructed by badgers & the entrance holes to those tunnels & chambers.
